Join Via An Email Invite Link

  1. Open the email invite you received for the meeting
  2. Click the link “Join Microsoft Teams Meeting”
  3. Click “Open” on the subsequent prompt to open Microsoft Teams
  4. Click “Join Now”

Join Via A Link In Your Browser 

  1. Copy the link from the invite email
  2. Paste the link into your browser’s URL field
  3. Select whether to open in the browser or open the Microsoft Teams app (if you have it downloaded)
  4. Enable microphone and camera permissions
  5. Set your name and click “Join Now”

Join Via A Calendar Link In Microsoft Outlook

  1. Find the meeting in your Outlook calendar and double click the event
  2. Click the link “Join Microsoft Teams Meeting”
  3. Click “Open” on the subsequent prompt to open Microsoft Teams
  4. Click “Join Now”

Join Via A Calendar Link In Microsoft Teams

  1. Find the meeting in your Teams calendar and double click the event
  2. Click the link “Join Microsoft Teams Meeting”
  3. Click “Open” on the subsequent prompt to open Microsoft Teams

Join An Ongoing Meeting In Your Channel

  1. If you are a member of a channel in which someone starts an impromptu meeting, you will receive a notification to join it
  2. Click “Join Now” on the notification

Join Via The Chat View

  1. Ongoing meetings you have been invited to will appear in the recent chat list
  2. Select the meeting
  3. Click “Join”
