Sacramento IT Services Professional: Lisa Baker

Lisa Baker has been with TLC Tech since 2012, and in the course of her time here has filled many roles across our organization. Currently, she heads up our internal operations, making sure that invoices go out, staff get paid, and helps internal teams create process workflows and documentation.As a Sacramento native, she attended CSU, Chico, where she earned an English degree with an emphasis in literary editing, interned with the college’s literary magazine and chapbook publisher, and met her husband. Her non-technical background enables her to work with the support staff on how to explain technical issues in layman’s terms easily and focus on the why of a process, not the technical aspects.

Outside of the office, Lisa is an avid knitter—she loves to knit sweaters and scarfs, and when traveling always tries to visit a local yarn shop. Other hobbies include building LEGO sets and playing video games with her young son. One day, he might beat her at Mariokart.
